Arrived in Cologne for a two-day Training, weather is great but the train connection was very early so Im a little tired … and in my room I found a nice surprise: a spider on the ceiling -yickes! Managed to catch it while standing on the bed juggling a hanger, sorry spider, cant sleep in one room with you!

The training is quite good so far: Meetings & Presentations in English. It also tackles the issue of the cultural differences between German and Britain/US Business which is the most interesting part for me so far. I also find it very amusing that several people adress each other on a first name basis during the meeting but in the breaks they go back to “Sie” & “Herr/Frau XY” – ridiculous! God am I glad thats not an issue in my workplace!! ;-)
Trying to get some sleep now but its always hard without my furry beasts – OK and the Chief ;-)
